ZL21 Filter Rods Making Machine is composed of YL11 opening&gluing machine and YL21 filter rods shaping machine. Through such procedure as air opening, screw opening, gluing, packing and rolling, side sealing, shaping and cutting manufactures the filter rods of equal length that comply with the requirements for butting.

This unit operates in 2-stage air opening and 2-stage screw roller opening. The cigarette pipe from this unit is an integral one, good roundness of filter rods will be guaranteed. Cornstarch paste is used for side packing, thus firm bonding is ensured. With the using of a seven-vane expansion and shrinkage fabric tape wheel, the errors of filter rods length could be effectively controlled. This machine unit has simple structure, steady and reliable performance, and it is easy to operate. The filter rods made by this unit can meet the requirements of high-speed butting.

This unit allows side sealing with pasting device or automatic-flow PVA white emulsion device, and can use split pipe or integral pipe with double searing irons.

 Z121 Type machine is widely applied in the production of polypropylene fiber filter rods.

KDF2 Filter Rod Making machine Combination includes YL12D Tow Processor, YL22D Filter Rod Maker, and YJ35D Tray Filler. It is an updated type of filter rod making combination improved from AF2/KDF2/HCF80 (HAUNI).It keeps the traditional advantage of structure and adopts advanced techniques of SERVO controller, communication and inspection. Its operation is very stable, and can produce high quality filter rod. Production Speed reaches 400m/min.

ZL22D is an updated type of fibre filter rod making combination improved from AF2/KDF2/HCF80 combination. By using the material of acetate fibres, the machine can fluff the material, spray the plasticizer (triacetin) onto the tow and form them into filter rods. It consists of YL12D tow processor, YL22D filter rod maker and YJ35D tray filler. It has the advantages of the quality products, the long lifetime, the low material consumption and the convenient maintenance.

5. Driving and driven linkage with 5 servo motors is adopted for the system. Mechanical power loss won’t occur. High accuracy electronic synchronous drive for the system realizes synchronous speed and phase which intensifies original mechanical driving performance.

1. The main driving system adopts Hooke's double-knife head with high rotary speed.

2. It reduces the product wastes when the machine is being started.

3. The plasticizer supply system is independently driven by the servo motor, which can automatically adjust the amount of supply with higher precision.

4. The separate dual-circulated cooling system can effectively cool the circulation system, which improves the filter formation effect and reduces the temperature rising.

5. The electric control system adopts SIEMENS S7-300 PLC, with the connections between different systems through PROFIBUS-DP bus.

6. It is fitted with coloured graphic man-machine interface, and reserves the interfaces of automatic filter rod sampling, on-line filter quality inspection, factory information technology and network.

7. It adopts multi-axle synchronization servo drive system, which could simplify the mechanical structure and upgrade the machine's automation function. The high accurate synchronization control guarantees the production of high quality filter rods.
